Event: Rockin’ Pink Party
The Little Black Dress Club, Nashville Chapter hosted the Rockin’ Pink Party at BB Kings October 15, 2010 to help raise money for the Greater Nashville Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen. I had the pleasure of attending the local event that Friday night and enjoyed the great music and meeting some wonderful guest.
The Rockin’ Pink Party featured two musical bands Dean Larson and the Jackson Boone Coalition. I did arrive a little late and only caught the end of Dean Larson set but by the reaction from the crowd the music must have been pretty entertaining. The Jackson Boone Coalition dished out many toons afterwards and even performed what seem to be many of the guests favorite “Pretty Woman” where guest got up out their sits to dance with friends and family.
Attendees of the Rockin’ Pink Party also had a chance to bid on items such as a Peyton Manning Jersey, Little Black Dress Club discounted membership and items, items from Magnolia and so many other great silent auction items. There was also pink drink specials and plenty of Breast Cancer Awareness information to go around.
The Little Black Dress Club put on such a wonderful event. For the second time I got to attend one of their events with such wonderful and nice people. The guest was more than willing to take pictures and socialize with many of the guest.
Breast Cancer is the most prevalent cancer in the world today, with about 1.3 million people diagnosed annually. The exact cause of the disease is unknown, and at this time, there is no cure. It is very important that EVERY woman (& men) get themselves checked regularly for Breast Cancer.
