Life After Denim

Men’s fashion we see everyday walking down the street or at the business office but yet what is the ultimate life of a man. By looking at the work of the spring/summer 2010 men’s fashion collection the ultimate life of men’s fashion is starting to shape. Designers like Marc Jacobs, The Brooklyn Circus, General Idea, and Alexander McQueen and there spring/summer 2010 collection all had the ultimate life of men in their collection. What in a collection makes up the ultimate life of men? There are three things that I look for when looking at a designer’s collection. Number one is the trend that they are creating for the season. I like to see new ideas that the designer’s are creating for the runway. Two, would have to be the color trend; color is very important because color is what a guy looks for to show people who they are. Last would be are they bringing a guy next door look to the collection. Life after Denim is a great example of having the guy next door look. The ultimate life of a man in fashion is being able to show your style by what you have on. And the people that are there to help us with that have to be the designers. Stepping away from the designer the ultimate life of a man can come from stores like H&M and Heritage1981. Heritage1981 is a great store for men because many of the looks have the next door looks. I love Heritage1981 just for that. The ultimate life of a man is what every man in the world would love to hold the title to. It’s the people around us that would help us with that.
