Last week, in my Fabulous Summer Sneakers blog, I posted pictures of Ciara rocking two *AMAZING* pairs of sneakers; the Adidas by Jeremy Scott ‘Mickey Mouse’ hi-top & the Adidas by Jeremy Scott sequined hi-top. This week, I decided to focus on Jeremy Scott, himself, because many people are not completely aware of who he is.

 So, who is Jeremy Scott? He’s an American designer & alumni of Pratt University in New York who is known for his outlandish designs and is loved by celebrities all over the world. In fact, Karl Lagerfeld (the genius behind Chanel) has been quoted as saying that Scott is the ONLY designer who can take over after him once he leaves Chanel. That’s quite a compliment! He has produced collections that have shown in Paris, New York, London & has collaborated with the sneaker giant that is Adidas. This is a collaboration that is amazing and is one that you can clearly see the genius that resides in Jeremy Scott.
In his second line, Jeremy Scott for Adidas originals by originals, he features footwear and apparel that have become instant hits for Adidas. He takes original Adidas sneaker silhouettes and adds his creative flair. Out of this we have seen Adidas originals adorned in sequins, Swarovski crystals, and even sneakers with 3 tongues & wings! Most of his sneakers are sold in exclusive quantities and have been eaten up by celebrities; Lil Wayne, Ciara, Kelis & more have been spotted rocking Scott’s sneakers.
