Former Mercedes-Benz Designer Creates Luxury Bags
Designer Vicki Vlachakis, a former Mercedes-Benz designer created the luxury hand bag collection Nooni for fall 2010.
Vicki presented her collection at this year’s New York Fashion week inspired by speed.
The bag designs showcased structured fringe and designs that are inspired by the architecture of the automobile.
The collection includes laser cuts, quilted hobo bags, corset totes and a large tote in hand painted mosaic leather. Colors ranges from matte black, pewter, silver, matte natural and grey.
Nooni strives to be a leader in manufacturing techniques, believing that advanced technologies such as laser etching and leather molding can lead to undiscovered forms and graphics creating a determined search for what's next.
The event took place in New York where famous runway coach Miss Jay Alexander was spotted at the Nooni press preview. Miss Jay has also been spotted wearing the Python Duette Cuff from Nooni.
